Bianca Solis is a dedicated leader in civic education and student engagement, serving as Assistant Director at the Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life at The University of Texas at Austin. A proud UT Austin alumna and San Antonio native, Bianca brings more than a decade of experience spanning nonprofit leadership, local political campaigns, and higher education student services.
Throughout her career, Bianca has championed initiatives that equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to participate meaningfully in civic life. Her professional journey includes work on municipal campaigns and service with the Boys and Girls Club, the San Antonio Tourism Council, and the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, experiences that deepened her commitment to community engagement and public service.
At ASI, Bianca leads program development and strategic outreach efforts that empower students to become thoughtful, informed leaders. She is passionate about creating spaces where emerging leaders can explore public service, strengthen their civic voice, and turn ideas into action.
